Tone Hole and Chimney Repair

Does Your Clarinet Have a Damaged Tone Hole?

If your answer is yes, we can help!

Clarinet tone holes with a chimney are repaired by completely removing the broken chimney and grafting a brand new Martin Freres Replacement chimney in its place.

Tone holes without a chimney are repaired by either re-countersinking the existing tone hole or drilling out a damaged tone hole, grafting new grenadilla (or other appropriate material) in its place, then counter-sinking a new tone hole.

The prices shown include parts and labor with all work done at our facility. We repair damaged tone holes for ANY make and model of clarinet.

Please note: Tone hole repair costs are valid only when added to a full clarinet re-fabrication.
